Join Commander Joel and help the investigators control Illusion monster populations through repeatable 100-kill missions.
Illusion Investigation Team
The Illusion Investigation Team studies the abnormal monster populations found inside Illusion Dungeons.
After joining the team, you can speak to the investigator stationed at each supported Illusion and accept
a repeatable mission to defeat 100 monsters in that investigation area.
Requirement to join: Base Level 100 or higher.
Registration is handled by Commander Joel in Prontera.

Registers Base Level 100+ characters as members of the Illusion Investigation Team.
How to find: Inside Prontera. Speak to Joel and choose to join; he completes the registration quest immediately.
1. Join JoelRegister once at Base Level 100+.
2. Unlock an IllusionComplete or reach the corresponding dungeon.
3. Meet InvestigatorAccept that area's 100-kill mission.
4. Defeat 100Any eligible Illusion monsters counted by that quest.
5. Report BackReceive Base EXP + Job EXP and begin the standby timer.
Investigators & Rewards
Each investigator has a minimum Base Level. The reward below is the EXP issued directly by the
current Investigation NPC script when the 100-kill quest is turned in.

Cooldown / Standby
Current server data: 4-hour standby.
After completing an Investigation hunt, its standby quest is configured with a
4-hour TimeLimit. Some investigator dialogue still says things such as
“tomorrow” or “after a day,” but the current quest database timer is 4 hours.
When the standby expires, return to the same investigator. The script clears the completed
hunt/standby state and allows the 100-kill investigation to be accepted again.
Important Notes
Join Joel First
If you reach an Illusion investigator without joining the team, the NPC directs you
back to Commander Joel at prt_in 136,34.
Dungeon Level Still Matters
Investigation membership does not bypass the Illusion Dungeon's own access level
or story requirements.
Name differences: a few database titles and NPC script names use different
romanizations. For example, the quest database calls the Moonlight investigator “Jiroker”
while the NPC is displayed as Girocker, and the Underwater quest title says
“Lister” while the NPC script displays Lista. The Wiki uses the name players
see when speaking to the NPC.
