Episode Progression Guide
RagnaKon's current main story progresses through
Episode 16.1, Episode 16.2,
Episode 17.1, and Episode 17.2.
The Episodes are connected, so completing them in order is the easiest
way to keep your character's story progression clean.

Recommended order:
Banquet for Heroes → Terra Gloria → Illusion / OS → Sage's Legacy.
First time playing the story?
Follow the Episodes normally if you want to experience the story and receive
the normal quest rewards, EXP and achievements along the way.
Episode Prerequisites
Starting from Episode 16, each new Episode has a prerequisite.
You cannot simply skip ahead to the next story NPC.
Finish the requirement below first, then continue to that Episode.
EPISODE 16.1
Reach Midgard Camp through Cat Hand
Your character must have previously entered the New World / Midgard Camp
through the Cat Hand (Cat Paw) access route from Eden Group HQ.
EPISODE 16.2
Finish Episode 16.1
Complete the Episode 16.1 main story before continuing
into Terra Gloria.
EPISODE 17.1
Finish Episode 16.2
Complete the Episode 16.2 main story before Episode 17.1
becomes your next story progression.

Finish Episode 17.1
Complete the Episode 17.1 main story before starting
Sage's Legacy.
Important:
If an Episode starter does not continue the story, check the prerequisite first.
In most cases, the previous Episode has not been fully completed yet.
Story Order
How to Check Where You Are
Open the in-game Adventure Guide and select the
Episode section. This is the easiest way to check which
chapter you have finished and what story you should continue next.

Use the Adventure Guide button near the minimap / top-right game interface.

Open Episode Progression
Check your Episode list before looking for the next NPC.
This is especially useful if you return after a long break.
EPISODE 16.1
Banquet for Heroes
The Rune-Midgarts royal-family storyline begins with an invitation
to Prontera Palace.
Royal Messenger
prontera 121,72
Starts the Episode 16.1 story.
How to find: Go to Prontera and speak to the Royal Messenger at 121,72.

Required Before StartingHave entered Midgard Camp through the Eden Cat Hand route
Prerequisite: Visit Midgard Camp through Cat Hand
Cat Hand New World Access
Eden Group HQ → Midgard Camp
Before Episode 16.1, your character must have used the
Cat Hand / Cat Paw route in Eden Group HQ to enter the
New World and reach Midgard Camp at least once.

Go to Eden Group HQ and talk to the
Cat Hand Agent at moc_para01 18,30.

Choose “Why don't you collect it yourself?”,
then “I'll help the merchants”.
Pay the one-time 50,000 Zeny fee.

You will be sent to the quarantine area.
Walk east and talk to the cat at
moc_fild20 368,197, then choose
“Let's do this!”.

After entering the Dimensional Gorge, walk north to the
Cat Hand Agent and choose
“To the other world!”.

Once your character has reached the
New World / Midgard Camp through this route,
the Episode 16.1 prerequisite is fulfilled.
Already visited Midgard Camp this way?
You do not need to repeat the access route. Continue with the Royal Messenger in Prontera.

EPISODE 16.2
Terra Gloria
Continue the Episode 16 storyline into the Terra Gloria arc.
This connects the royal-family investigation with the Schwarzwald
and Heart Hunter conflict.
Prerequisite: Finish Episode 16.1.
Episode 16.2 continues directly from the Banquet for Heroes storyline.
Complete the Episode 16.1 main story first, then use
Adventure Guide → Episode to continue into Terra Gloria.

If it does not start, return to Adventure Guide and make sure the
Episode 16.2 main story is fully completed.

Prerequisite: Finish Episode 17.1.

Complete the Episode 17.1 main quest first before trying to begin Episode 17.2.

If Episode 16.1 will not start, first confirm that you have reached Midgard Camp through the Eden Cat Hand route. Then return to the Royal Messenger at prontera 121,72.

If Episode 16.2, 17.1 or 17.2 is unavailable, finish the previous Episode's main story first and check Adventure Guide again.
