City Investment & Union Weapons

The City Merchant Union is a progression system that lets you earn Tokens of Union, invest them into one of nine cities, build trust with that city's merchants, and unlock Union weapons and equipment.

Important: City investment is character progression tied to the City Merchant Union. Join the Union first, earn Tokens of Union, then choose carefully where to place your daily investment.

Start in Eden Group HQ

City Merchant Association Manager

Basic Progression

1. JoinRegister with the City Merchant Association Manager in Eden.

2. Earn TokensComplete CMU requests and collect Tokens of Union.

3. Choose a CityVisit one of nine Investment Managers.

4. InvestSpend 50, 100, or 250 Tokens once per day.

5. Buy Union GearReach city trust milestones and use the Merchant Union shop next to the manager.

Token of Union

Token of Union is the currency used for city investment. The City Merchant Association Manager explains that Union members may receive Union tokens while hunting, and the CMU Bulletin Board provides another direct source through its requests.

The uploaded City Investment script does not define the hunting-drop probability itself, so this guide does not advertise an exact monster-drop rate.

How to Check Your City Merchant Union Rank

You do not need to guess your current Union rank. Open the in-game Achievement window, then go to Quest → General and select Alliance workers of merchant city.

Open the Achievement window.
Select Quest on the left.
Expand and select General.
Choose Alliance workers of merchant city.
The right panel shows your progression through Amethyst → Sardonyx → Aquamarine → Diamond.

The same Quest → General list also contains the individual city contribution achievements, such as Prontera, Geffen, Payon, Morocc, Yuno, Einbroch, Lighthalzen, Rachel and Veins Contribution. Select the city entry when you want to inspect that city's investment achievement progress.

Name note: the Achievement UI displays Sardonyx. Some NPC dialogue in the current City Merchant Union script spells the same rank as “Sadonix”; the Wiki uses the Achievement UI spelling so players can match what they see in-game.

Wanted Request	Available even from Amethyst rank. The target changes to a new request every Wednesday at 4:00 AM. Rewards vary by target from 100 to 300 Tokens of Union.
C-Rank Delivery	Entry delivery tier. Reward: 30 Tokens of Union.
B-Rank Delivery	Available from Sadonix progression. Reward: 40 Tokens of Union.
A-Rank Delivery	Available from Aquamarine progression. Reward: 60 Tokens of Union.

How City Investment Works

Talk to an Investment Manager in any participating city. You can choose one of three investment sizes:

50Tokens+250 city contribution

100Tokens+525 city contribution

250Tokens+1,375 city contribution

Only one city investment per day. After investing in any one of the nine cities, you cannot make another city investment until the daily investment cooldown expires. This restriction applies across all nine cities, not separately per city.

The larger options are slightly more token-efficient: 50 Tokens gives 250 contribution, 100 gives 525, and 250 gives 1,375.

City Trust Stages

Contribution is stored in successive trust stages. For the four main equipment cities (Prontera, Geffen, Payon, and Morocc), completing each stage expands that city's Merchant Union shop.

Stage 1 3,000 points Unlocks the city's first Union item. Cumulative contribution: 3,000.

Stage 2 +6,000 points Unlocks the second item. Cumulative contribution: 9,000.

Stage 3 +12,000 points Unlocks the third item. Cumulative contribution: 21,000.

Stage 4 +20,000 points Unlocks the fourth item. Cumulative contribution: 41,000.

After Stage 4, the script has one final +1,000-point achievement segment, for 42,000 total contribution to complete that city's investment achievement. It does not add another shop item.

Which City Should I Invest In?

Pick the city that sells equipment useful to your current character. Because only one city can receive your investment each day, spreading contribution across many cities will slow down individual city unlocks.
